Who we are
Kin Doberman is a member of and listed by the Doberman Pinscher Club of Canada (DPCC) the official National Club for the Doberman Pinscher breed in Canada. We are also a member of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and have donated a portion of our puppy placement fees to the Canadian Kennel Club Foundation (www.ckcf.ca). We are the only such breeder located in the Toronto area.
We believe a breeder’s Dobermans should be part of the household and live within the household, rather than in a dedicated “dog space” or kennel separate from the household. We thoroughly apply this belief in our household. Kin Doberman breeds for the love and improvement of the breed, and until 2022 we never had more than a single litters annually. Interested forever homes are strongly encouraged to either visit the website for updates on an upcoming litter, or to write and inquire about it, since we do NOT take “reservations” or hold a “priority list” or take applications until a few months before a given breeding.
At the end of the day, Kin Doberman only homes its puppies in households we deem most appropriate for quality of life, and which we assess will turn out to be the most loving and caring forever homes. Adding a family member to your household should be a well-planned, long-term commitment, not a spur of the moment decision. Kin Doberman puppies come from systematically Championed and health-tested American bloodlines, with adult females and males typically in the 55-70lbs and 80-95lbs ranges respectively.
